There are many models of cars pedal which are now considered classics and highly coveted by collectors. Murray is one of the most collectible pedal car manufacturers; countless Murray pedal cars have been produced over the years. Among these is Murray pedal version of the Pontiac 1948. This was substantially the same as the sad face later model, with the exception of the end before the mark sad face. However, this model was actually designed after the 1948 model year Pontiac, while the sad face has not been designed after a particular model. This included variations such as a fire truck, fire chief car, and break.
The model 1948 was discontinued in 1950 with the introduction of the Champion. The champion 1950-51, also known as side dip "was a pedal very popular toy model, with innumerable variations. Originally, the sad face pedal car in three versions, including a sedan, a fire truck and a station wagon. Other models included a dump truck and a car fire chief. Unlike many other pedal cars of that time, the Sad Face was not designed to replicate any real specific car model. Today the classic "Sad Face" Design is one of the most popular models of reproduction.
The Murray Flat Face "of the late 1950 was designed to look more modern than the online versions of the 1940 curve, continuing the trend from the sides rounded to flat surfaces. It has been done in many different variants, and recalls many of Ford '59.
The "V" Front Murray, the first time in 1960, has been appointed to design the front of the car above the bumper. It was produced in several variations until the line was interrupted in 1967. The "V Front" is one of the last popular all-steel pedal toy products.
Although these are the Murray popular pedal cars, there were countless others, including a car quite unique paddle-shaped variety sold as the dolphin, the boss, and the Jolly Roger. The three-wheeled vehicles, introduced in 1955, had a single front wheel, and has been sold in three variants: the airport Jet Service patrol radar, and good humor. Jet Murray, also with a wheel at the front, including versions sold as nuclear missiles, the aircraft supersonic, and Sky Rocket.
